Southern Counties Canine Association 2018 Critique

This was my second time judging the Deerhounds in the UK, and again I had a most enjoyable day. Numerically not the biggest entry, but I found the quality in general to be very good. I was very happy with my main winners, all excellent representatives for this lovely breed. This well organized show manages to get a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, I hope this is something the exhibitors can agree on. Sportsmanship at it's best, as always, among the Deerhound people. Thank you for showing, and thank you to the SCCA for inviting me.
